Private by design.
Your messages arrive clean: a plain personal message with no app logo, no header and no banner. They never see your phone number or email address. Replies still come back to you. Here is exactly what the other person sees, channel by channel.
Write, review and preview for free. Sending is on Plus, Pro and Business.
You write it the way you feel it. MessageMediator helps you say it well, and you approve every word.
I'm sorry about Mom's birthday. I was having a hard day and I said things I didn't mean. I'd really like to make it right. Could we get coffee on Saturday?

No MessageMediator logo, header, buttons, badge or "sent with" banner in the email. Today the sending address ends in @messagemediator.com, and the reply address and the stop/block/report links also use messagemediator.com. Someone who looks closely at the address can tell which service delivered it.
Exactly what they see
Made by the same code that writes the real messages. "Opening soon" channels are built and wait on carrier or Meta registration.
Email Available now
No MessageMediator logo, header, buttons, badge or "sent with" banner in the email.
They see
- Your name (or the neutral name you choose) as the sender, then your message as plain text, like a normal personal email.
- A short footer line: "This is a private message delivered by a private message relay service", with stop, block and report links.
- Your own email address is never shown. Replies go through us and come back to you in the app.
What they can tell
- Today the sending address ends in @messagemediator.com, and the reply address and the stop/block/report links also use messagemediator.com. Someone who looks closely at the address can tell which service delivered it.
- A neutral sending domain with no MessageMediator name is being set up; this wording changes when it is live.

Text message Opening soon
Comes from our registered texting number, never yours. Your number stays hidden.
They see
- Your message, then your name (or the neutral name you choose).
- On the first text: one line saying it came through a private message service, that message and data rates may apply, and how to opt out (Reply STOP). Later texts end with "Reply STOP to opt out."
- Replying HELP shows the name of our service and a help link.
What they can tell
- US carrier rules (A2P 10DLC and CTIA guidelines) require opt-out instructions and can require the service to identify itself, so a text is never "traceless": the recipient can tell it came through a messaging service.
- Carriers know which registered business sent the text.

Private message via a private message relay service. Reply to answer. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, BLOCK to block this sender, REPORT to report abuse, HELP for help.
WhatsApp Opening soon
Comes from our WhatsApp Business account, never your own number. Your number stays hidden.
They see
- WhatsApp shows the business account name and number at the top of the chat. That is our business account, not you.
- The first message uses a Meta-approved template: "You have a private message from <your name or chosen name>", your message, and how to reply, stop, block or report.
What they can tell
- The business display name is always visible in WhatsApp, so the recipient can see the message came through a business messaging account.

What "anonymous" means here
We only use the word where it is literally true.
True
- On every channel the recipient never sees your phone number or email address.
- With "Stay anonymous" they also do not see your name: they see a neutral name you pick (for example "A friend").
Not true
- You are not anonymous to us: accounts are identity-confirmed and every message is logged with the account that sent it.
- Threats, harassment and stalking are never delivered and never anonymous: they are kept securely with the sender's details for up to 365 days and may be given to law enforcement when legally required.
- You cannot send as someone else, or use a name that looks like a company, authority or service.
Private on your side too
- The app can show as "Notes", and notification emails can say only "You have a new notification" (Settings > Safety and privacy).
- Quick exit, and "Sign out and clear this device" for shared phones and computers.
- Card statements show "Names.com - AZ.AI".
Questions
Who can see that I used MessageMediator?
Not the person you write to, from the message itself: there is no logo, header, button or banner, and the first message only says it came through a private message service. Be aware of the details: Today the sending address ends in @messagemediator.com, and the reply address and the stop/block/report links also use messagemediator.com. Someone who looks closely at the address can tell which service delivered it. Texts must include opt-out wording under US carrier rules, and WhatsApp always shows the business account name. On your side, Settings > Safety and privacy can make the app show as "Notes" and make our notification emails say only "You have a new notification". Card statements show "Names.com - AZ.AI".
What does the recipient see?
Email: Your name (or the neutral name you choose) as the sender, then your message as plain text, like a normal personal email. A short footer line: "This is a private message delivered by a private message relay service", with stop, block and report links. Text message: Your message, then your name (or the neutral name you choose). On the first text: one line saying it came through a private message service, that message and data rates may apply, and how to opt out (Reply STOP). Later texts end with "Reply STOP to opt out." WhatsApp: WhatsApp shows the business account name and number at the top of the chat. That is our business account, not you. The examples on this page are made by the same code that writes the real messages.
Do replies come back to me?
Yes. They simply reply to the email or text (or WhatsApp). The reply comes to us, gets the same calm review, and lands in your MessageMediator inbox. They never see your own email address or number, and you never have to share it.
Is my phone number hidden?
Yes, on every channel. Texts and WhatsApp messages come from our registered business number, and emails come from our sending address, never from yours. Nothing can make a message look like it came from your own number or address.
What do you store?
Your account, who you wrote to and when, and the delivery status. Message content is encrypted at rest. The text of email, SMS and WhatsApp messages is deleted from our servers after 30 days by default (you can choose 7, 90 or 365 days, or keep it until you delete it); you can delete any message at any time. Content our automatic screening flags as a threat, harassment or stalking is kept separately, encrypted with its own key, for up to 365 days.
Can MessageMediator staff read my messages?
Messages are private, except content our automatic screening flags as a threat, harassment or stalking, which is kept securely for up to 365 days and may be disclosed to law enforcement when legally required. There is no staff screen for browsing members' messages; opening a flagged record takes an administrator with two-factor sign-in and a written reason, and every access is logged. Someone who reports a message can choose to share its content with us. Email and text cannot be end-to-end encrypted (our service has to read them to review and deliver them); Private chats between members are end-to-end encrypted and we cannot read them.
Can I send as someone else, or stay hidden if I threaten someone?
No. You always send as yourself, or with "Stay anonymous" as a neutral name you pick. Names that look like a person's official role, a company or a service are refused. You are not anonymous to us: accounts are identity-confirmed and every message is logged with the account that sent it. Threats, harassment and stalking are never delivered and never anonymous: they are kept securely with the sender's details for up to 365 days and may be given to law enforcement when legally required.
Is Discreet on every plan?
Yes. Discreet and Stay anonymous are included on every plan that sends messages (Plus, Pro and Business) at no extra cost. On Free you can write, review and preview exactly what they will see.
