Terms of service

Last updated October 13, 2026

By using MessageMediator you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

MessageMediator reviews personal messages with AI before delivery, delivers them by email or text, relays replies with the same review, and keeps a record. AI suggestions may be wrong or incomplete. They are not legal, medical, financial or psychological advice. You are responsible for every message you send, including any suggestion you accept.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or older, sign in with a verified email address, and show recipients your real name. You may not impersonate anyone.

Acceptable use

We refuse messages that break these rules and may suspend or close accounts that break them, without refund of credits used.

Text messages

Before sending a text you confirm that the recipient has agreed to receive texts from you. Each first text identifies you and MessageMediator and explains how to opt out. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out of all MessageMediator texts and HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Texts are available to US mobile numbers.

Calls and recording

Calls (2 to 8 people) include a visible AI mediator that reads live captions (speech converted to text) and may suggest a pause, a summary, questions or options; anyone can mute it, and the host can turn it off. Captions are shown to and saved for everyone on the call. Audio is recorded only when every person on the call has agreed; a recording indicator stays on screen, an announcement is shown when it starts, anyone can stop it, and anyone who joins later pauses it until they agree. Many places (including several US states, such as California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington) require the consent of all parties to record a conversation; MessageMediator requires it everywhere. You must not record anyone by other means through the service. Recordings are encrypted and kept for the host's retention setting (30 days by default), and can be downloaded or deleted by the host or the person recorded.

Email

Every email identifies you as the sender and includes a one-click way to stop all MessageMediator messages, block you, or report abuse.

Credits, plans and payment

Free accounts include 15 credits a month for Clear reviews (free for a limited time; we may end or change the free allowance) and cannot send. Sending and other AI features use credits (for example, 4 credits for an Insight review and 1 for an email). Credits are bought as packs, as pay-as-you-go top-ups, or come with a monthly plan. Purchased credits do not expire and are not refundable, except that credits for a delivery that fails are refunded automatically. Plans renew monthly or yearly until cancelled; cancel any time from Billing, effective at the end of the period. Credits for a message you cancel while it waits in SendGuard are refunded. Paid credits and plans apply to MessageMediator only. Billing will show as Names.com - AZ.AI. MessageMediator is a Names.com company; payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices may change; changes never affect credits you already hold.

Your content

You own your messages. You give us permission to store, review, deliver and display them as described in the Privacy policy.

Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee delivery times or that every message will be delivered; carriers and email providers can delay or filter messages.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, MessageMediator is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for the content of messages members send, or for indirect or consequential losses.

One network account

Your sign-in is shared with the other sites in our network for their free features. Each site's paid features are separate.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the date above. Questions: use the contact form.
